The thought behind this was to try to combine all the sad, and distasteful meanings of these flowers and make something beautiful, while still showcasing pain.

I've seen artists on tik tok make amazing, professional pieces out of ball point pens, and since I use them on occasion for studies I wanted to see if I too could create a clean piece out of this seemingly boring office supply.

It's been a while since I've drawn actual hands so I had to warm up, and decided to do a study to practice different poses (seen right) as well as practicing values with the pen and learning how to control the pressure when using a pen.

Guiding Question: What hidden messages can I convey? Flower language?
