Black Pontiac is one of my favorite bands. I like how they're music is funky and makes me want to get up and dance around. I knew I wanted geometrical shapes and some symmetry. They're other album colors have bright colors, their music is bright so it matches.

Different Artist Style

I chose Brittany Myers to be the artist to change my style according. I was having a hard time getting the way she moves her characters to look right for my style but I did make the drawing simpler. If I could change anything I'd put more movement into her pose and have a clearer silhouette

Character Animation

Mediums: Colored pencil, alcohol marker, watercolor, collage, and ink

I wanted the character to look relaxed, and like it was her day off of work. I wanted her environment to be comfy and convey that she is a smart, bookreader. Behind her is actually a big bookshelf and a college degree

For the animation, I was originally going to have her just wave, but i thought that was boring so I also had her do a little dance and blink. Making her blink was the hardest part of the entire animation.
