Practice Landscape
After finishing my landscape I still had time, so I used my Minecraft world as a reference for this, and tried my best to almost make it look real.
Watercolor profile
This was probably my favorite piece to paint this semester. I am most comfortable with drawing facial features and am probably the best with it. This is a painting that I did of my best friend, I like to draw her because she has nice features.
At first I was going to have a golden background, making it look like she was angelic, but I like the cool contrast against the warm tone of her skin
Surrealist Still Life
even though I don't often do still lifes, this was fun to do. I always have a difficult time with reflective surfaces, but i enjoyed creating the bottle. I tried adding less-realistic clouds and I like what they added to the piece.
Practice Landscape 2
Before we started our landscapes I wanted to experiment with some of the new things I learned, to get comfortable with the techniques. I wanted to practice mountains, water, and dry brush pine trees.
