With close to 20 hours in this tiny 4x4 square of embroidery it is the longest I have ever worked on a project. This was a new medium for me, I had to navigate different stitches and figure out what looked good together. I also finished it off with an old t-shirt because I couldn't decide how I wanted it displayed and this way it looks cleaner from any angle. 

This project was looking at not intimacy between two people but intimacy of when you are alone with yourself. When you're staring at your naked body and either become okay with how you look or pick apart every impurity of your reflection.
